How Do I Get ISTQB Certification?

Here are the five steps to become ISTQB Certified.

1. Download the free ISTQB Foundation Level study materials. ISTQB Foundation Level certification is required before you can take any other ISTQB certification exam. (After this, you can choose from all of the ISTQB certifications.) You can download the ISTQB Foundation Level syllabus (body of knowledge), sample exam questions, and glossary information on the ISTQB Foundation Level resources page.
2. Study the ISTQB certification prep materials. Read the ISTQB Foundation Level syllabus, sample exams and glossary that you downloaded. Note: The ISTQB syllabus is very important. This syllabus is not just a simple outline but is actually detailed information that you need to know for the exam. In addition, don't overlook the ISTQB glossary because you must know the terms for the exam. If you use the online ISTQB glossary, you can filter the terms by certification, saving you lots of study time. The ISTQB sample questions are also very helpful for your ISTQB exam prep. We particularly recommend the ISTQB Foundation Level sample exam questions on the ASTQB website because they are created specifically for the ISTQB exam offered by AT*SQA.
3. See the tips for passing the ISTQB Foundation Level exam. This information and video on how to pass ISTQB Foundation Level is quite good. It's free to watch, and has great suggestions.
4. Register early for your ISTQB exam. Booking your ISTQB exam early gives you a goal and a deadline to work toward.
