Where to take the ISTQB exam
You can take your ISTQB exam in every country in the world. Most people take it online from home. If you prefer, you can also go to a testing center near you.
Online exam or testing center?
When you register through AT*SQA, you choose how you want to take your exam.
Online from home or work: You take the exam on your computer using live proctoring. A webcam and a stable internet connection are required. This option is available in every country in the world, on any day of the year.
Testing center: You go to a supervised location near you to take the exam in person. After you buy your exam voucher, log into your AT*SQA account to search for available testing centers and pick a date and time that works for you.
Both options give you the same official ISTQB certification. The exam content, pass mark, and certificate are exactly the same either way.
What you need on exam day
